WinWind provides guidance on transferring best practices

WinWind has supported an exciting transfer process of best practices for socially inclusive wind energy between different regions in Europe. In several transfer teams, stakeholders from "learning" and "mentoring" regions have considered how innovative approaches can be applied in different contexts. Teams from Germany, Poland, Latvia and Italy have signed Memoranda of Understanding and will continue continue this process beyond the project's completion.

The transfer methodology how now been made available and adapted for universal use in the form of an easy to follow guide:

Transfer of Socially Inclusive Wind Energy Measures - An Integrated Management Approach

By following the five steps in this guide, local and regional governments, planning authorities, project developers and citizens are enabled to take inspiration from best practices for socially inclusive wind energy and carry out transfer of innovative approaches to their respective contexts.
